These are more than just your typical "styled shoot". Yes there will be the stunning locations, dresses, and florals. We're delivering a top to bottom realistic adventure elopement so you can market the crap out of your work and start actually booking real people.

we will be shooting at the most iconic spots in Scotland together. From Old Man of Storr, Quirraing, Wee White House, Eilean Donan Castle, and Glennfinnan Viaduct...everywhere we turn will be a dream to capture.

when we're not shooting we'll be going on our own adventures...from hiking, to finding highland cows, and playing card games in the bnb. think of this experience like you're in a pride + prejugidice movie giving you the girls trip you didn't know you needed...

cozy up in the cutest remote scotland bnb. we'll relax in this charming bnb, play games, and take time to get to know each other.
we will also be utilizing this bnb for a cinematic couples session + getting ready...picture vintage rollers, playing chess, and dancing in the kitchen with the rolling hills of Scotland at your viewpoint through charming windows...

When we're not shooting we will be having the trip of your dreams. Exploring Scotland, driving around taking headshots, cooking together, card games at the bnb. All the cozy vibes as we network and grow together.
intimate experience
we only allow a select group of photographers to join us on our retreats. the reason we do this is because we have been to the retreats where there are so many people you can't even get a shot or a chance to pose the couple. we don't want that here. at roaming retreats we keep it intimate to allow everyone time to pose + get the shots they need. at every session, we have 2 styled elopements/couples happening at once to give space and opporunity for each group and station.
community driven
this is also a time to learn and network with other photographers. through spending time shooting, editing together, and just hanging out you'll be able to build friendships that are genuine and life building. share tips and tricks and learn from each other!
location guides
one of the best parts of roaming retreats is our vast knowledge and skill of how to find the best locations that aren't huge tourist spots and have crowds of people. we spend time researching and picking out the best spots + we also created a location scouting guide just for you to use for your very own clients to wow them with your knowledge!

PLANS THROUGH
When you first arrive at the bnb you'll be greeted with a welcome dinner, gift bags, and a night to get to know everyone. Throughout the retreat we plan excursions for you to explore the dreamy location and truly relax and recharge.
After you've purchased a ticket and signed the contract, you'll be added to the exclusive Facebook group for the retreat. Here you can connect with the other attendees and share rental cars + pick your lodging buddy for the week! we will also be sharing helpful tips + guides as we get closer!

how it works
Every retreat has 2-3 cinematic couple sessions + 2-3 elopement sessions. Each styled shoot is unique and includes top to bottom elopement days with getting ready, activities, and stunning couple portraits so you can blog and show off full elopement days to your couples.
Absolutely not! We planned our locations with beginner hikers in mind & we can successfully say that our shoot locations are doable even for beginners! Our longest hike will be about 3 miles rated moderate.
Yes there are! we work with Klarna where you can set up your personal payment plan. Otherwise, the ticket can be purchased in full up front.
FAQ'S
We recommend flying into Edinburgh Airport! No special car rental will be needed--any standard sedan will be able to access all our shoot locations! P.S. Carpool with other attendees to help save on costs! We'll have a private Facebook group for everyone to chat in.
This is why we provided the Lodging Free option (Option 2)! Attend all the activities and shoots but stay at your own lodging with your people! You're welcome to bring someone along to the shoots (non-boat tour locations / or at our Airbnb) as long as they're not photographing.
Bring all your camera gear to get allllll the content! Also bring a swimsuit, a cutie outfit, some hiking attire, and all your travel essentials!
100% Yes! It's not only important to show diversity in your portfolio, but to also show that eloping is for everyone. That's why we always make it a large priority to include diversity among our models.
It's very important to us that we always keep shooting groups small. That's why we always have two couples to shoot at each location. This allows us to shoot in two separate groups and rotate between each couple.
You can sell your ticket to another interested attendee! All previous payments will be transferred to the new attendee from you and they will take over all future payments. If you can no longer attend, let us know via email and we have resources for selling tickets.
We will have a welcome dinner to get to know everyone and chat on the evening of March 23rd. Our first shoot will take place on March 24th. Our last shoot will take place on March 26th and we will all say our goodbye's on the morning of March 27th.
